Our group is participating in a number of events throughout the year to both raise funds for Free the Children and the projects they are organizing, and to help those in our own community who are in need through food bank drives and working with agencies such as WIN house to improve the lives of those who need our support.
In the past fifteen years, Me to We has learned that change arises when young people defy the notion that they cannot make a difference, asserting a fifth precious freedom: the freedom to act. For five days from April 23th to 27th, young people around the world will exercise their freedom to act by taking part in Free The Children's signature spring campaign, Five Days for Freedom.
Over the course of the week, young people will commit to a variety of awareness and fundraising efforts to take action for their peers in developing communities. Then on Friday, April 27, it's time to have some fun at Freedom Fest – a school-wide event celebrating the difference students are making in the lives of children around the world.
Five Days for Freedom is our chance to make a difference. Mobilize your friends and family in one week of action to reach your fundraising goal. It's easy, fun and we'll give you all the information and resources you need to do it successfully.
